Ticket refunds can be voluntary or involuntary. Also, many airlines allow favorable ticket cancellation on the day of purchase.
What you need to do to return a ticket
1. Leave a request for airline ticket refund
Go to Account, section Orders. Open the desired order and click Request a refund. Select the type of refund — voluntary or involuntary one.
An involuntary refund is requested in case of death/illness of the passenger or his/her close relatives, flight cancellation/delay, visa refusal. For more information on whether your case is an involuntary refund for a particular airline, please contact our Customer Care by submitting a request on the order page.
The response to the request will be received only to the email specified in the order.
2. Check that you have an automatic message in your email that the request has been received
You do not need to reply to the automated message — only if you have something to add to the request.
We would appreciate it if you would not create repeated requests.
3. Wait for the letter from us with the calculation and confirm your consent to the return
Specialist’s reply with refund calculation will be sent to your email before the departure date.
You may be required to agree to refund the ticket. In this case, the specialist will send you the terms and conditions of the refund and indicate the deadline for confirming the consent to cancellation of the ticket.
► If the ticket was paid by “card via Kupi.com” method, to confirm the refund you should write “I confirm” or “I agree” in the reply email with saving the subject of the email and the history of correspondence.
► If the ticket is paid by “card through the airline” method, the confirmation is the fact of payment of the service fee for the refund procedure according to the link received from the manager together with the refund calculation.
If the confirmation is received by us later than the time specified in the letter or by a separate (new) letter, the refund will be recalculated in accordance with the fare rules at the time of the refund.
4. Get a written confirmation from the manager
Refund can be considered as made after you receive a notification from the Customer Care manager with a written confirmation.
All emails are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to requests with the closest departure dates.
The possibility of refunding an airline ticket depends on the fare rules set by the airline. You can find the rules of return and exchange of the ticket in the process of issuing an order and in the details of the paid order in your Account.
Please note: if your order form has several flights but one booking number, it means that each passenger in the order has a single ticket issued for the entire route.
Single ticket is canceled only completely. It is impossible to return only the departure flight. It is possible to return the “return” flight on such a ticket only after the passenger has used the “round trip” flight and if the fare provides for a refund.
Separate tickets can be canceled independently of each other, if necessary.
