What does the term “single ticket” mean?
There are restrictions of airlines for such kind of tickets. “Single tickets” can only be used sequentially, starting from the first departure airport, without skipping any steps in the route.
It basically means that a user not showing up for the outbound flight will be considered a no-show, and all the connecting flights associated with this one, even a return flight, will be cancelled.
Such tickets can only be refunded in full.
How can I determine if the ticket is a “single ticket”?
If a ticket number indicated on the Itinerary Receipt is the same for all flights, then your ticket is considered to be a “single ticket”.
How to refund a part of a “single ticket”?
If the fare rules and airline permit a refund, it is possible to refund connecting flights, but only after the previous one has been completed. Therefore, you can only refund the remaining part of the route after completing a specific step of the journey.
If you need to return a portion of the itinerary from which the trip begins but wish to reserve the onward journey, please contact our Customer Care team. We will check what can be done and respond to you.
