What is suitable for confirmation?
It is best if you have a printed electronic ticket or boarding pass with a note about the change / cancellation of the flight and the airline’s seal. Such a document is issued by the airline’s representatives at the airport if the transfer / cancellation occurred already at the time of your arrival at the airport.
When attaching a scan / photo of such a document to the request, the chance to quickly make a refund without additional requests to the airline increases significantly.
If you do not have a document with the airline’s seal, it may be suitable for proof:
- screenshot or photo of an email or SMS from the airline with information about schedule changes;
- screenshot of the correspondence with the airline’s chatbot, in which there is an answer about the changes;
- screenshot from the personal account on the airline’s website, where there is information about the changes;
- screenshot of the online scoreboard on the airline’s website or a photo of the scoreboard at the airport, where the status of your flight is indicated;
- screenshot from the Flightradar24;
- screenshot or a link to a post from the verified social network of the airline, in which it is written about the changes that have occurred in the schedule.
You can use any of the above options as confirmation of changes in the flight. However, it will not be possible to make a involuntary refund immediately, as in the case of the official seal from the airline: the specialists of our Customer Care need time to check the information provided.
